Candida Question #21 Can Candida Kill Me? If I Don’t Treat It?

Well, I can tell you there’s no real known record of people dying of a yeast infection. There are some severe forms of Candida, however, systemic Candidiasis, which may occur with Aids’ patients. In those cases, yeast can be fatal, but they’re very rare. They don’t really occur as a general rule.

However, a minor yeast infection can become a serious one and it won’t disappear without some form of intervention. So while you can’t die from a yeast infection, I have seen plenty of seriously ill patients who wish they were dead because they felt like they were living in hell. And I call a lot of these people the walking wounded. They walk around sometimes for decades in a half-life/half-dead state.

So the sooner you get on top of your yeast infection, the better. To determine the severity of your Candida, why don’t you go to yeastinfection.org and take my online survey right now to determine whether you’re mild, moderate or severe.

And then have a look at my book, Candida Crusher. You’ll find plenty of solutions in that book to help you to stop from getting a very severe case of yeast infection.

Candida Question #20 Doctors Think I am Crazy And There Is No Such Thing As Candida

Unfortunately, this is the view of many conventional medical doctors that yeast infection is a lot of BS, it doesn’t exist and it’s basically just imagination of the patient. This is something I’ve struggled with now for over two decades with many GPs. Some doctors, in fact, don’t even believe that men can have yeast infections because they haven’t got a vagina. Hard to believe but true.

Many enlightened doctors do believe that yeast infections exist. My good friend, Dr. James Wilson, also struggled for many years to get doctors to believe that adrenal fatigue actually exists, which it does.

Conditions like yeast infections and adrenal fatigue are what we call syndromes. Syndromes are quite hard to define because they can involve many different signs and symptoms covering all different systems of the patient. You must remember that medical doctors like to treat symptoms. They don’t really like to treat syndromes. It’s more profitable to treat a symptom. It’s easier to treat a symptom. It’s easy to diagnose a symptom. And for these and many other reasons, doctors prefer to treat symptoms.

A few years ago I was in Sydney, Australia at a medical clinic, where I saw an interesting sign hanging up, please present with only one symptom today, which shows you how ridiculous some medical clinics are.

So your best bet is to seek out a doctor who has had natural training. We call them functional medicine doctors. These are doctors who have had conventional training and natural medicine in addition. You’ll probably get a better strike rate with a doctor like that or perhaps a naturopathic doctor will give you a fair hearing when you start complaining of signs and symptoms of a yeast infection.

So this is the view of many conventional doctors, but don’t be dismayed just because you’ve been told it’s all in your head, it may, in fact, be all in your digestive system. So you’re not depressed or anxious or imagining things. And when I had a yeast infection when I was 26, I was told to see a psychiatrist. So that was 26 years ago now and that view unfortunately is still held today.

So seek out a natural medicine doctor. You’ll find them through associations or go and see a naturopathic doctor.

I hope that answers your question. Thank you.

Candida Question #19 Can A Good Quality Probiotic Treat My Yeast Infection Forever?

Well, a probiotic will certainly help you, but I really don’t believe that a probiotic will cure your yeast infection as such. It can certainly help to repopulate your digestive system and help to reduce the levels of poor bacteria. But once a yeast infection really takes hold in the body, it’s quite difficult to eradicate it by just relying on a probiotic alone.

And in fact in America in 2010 when they enforced GMP or good manufacturing procedures, they discovered that over half the probiotics that were being purchased by people were useless, absolutely therapeutically useless. They had poor strains and hardly any viability at all. So be very careful what type of dietary supplements you buy because there are lots of product out there that are not very viable.

As I mentioned, once Candida becomes widespread, it becomes more difficult to eradicate, probably like a weed in a garden will become more difficult to eradicate when it really takes foothold. So the whole idea is to try and get in before it becomes systemic or too bad. A better approach would be to use an enzyme and probiotic combination; that will give you a better effect than just a probiotic.

If you keep an eye on yeastinfection.org and CandidaCrusher.com, you will soon discover that I’ve developed my own Candida Crusher products with very high quality viability and very specific enzyme probiotic formula which I’m developing right now which will be available soon, so you’ll be able to purchase that very soon with the quality product I have in mind.

So supplements are certainly very, very handy and essential in chronic cases, but most of your work really needs to come from lifestyle and diet. Eighty percent of what I like patients to do is think about their lifestyle and twenty percent about supplementation. I’m not interested in people who are just interested in taking supplements, try to get rid of symptoms, it’s not going to work. You need to address the root causes, look particularly at your lifestyle and diet and supplementation to give you the best effects when it comes to crushing Candida.

So I hope that answers your question. Thank you, Bill.
