Candida Question #14 Can Yeast In The Stool Cause A Vaginal Yeast Infection?

It can; in fact, women need to be careful when they wipe that they wipe from front to back. Stool can contain significant amounts of yeast. And I’ve noticed with stool testing, for example, when stool can be cultured; in some cases we can find quite a healthy live yeast population in the stool. So stool certainly can contain live yeast and it’s one key way for women to transfer Candida albicans from their rectal region to the vaginal region. Bacterial vaginosis is also very commonly occurred this way through fecal contamination.

So to answer that question, yes it can be transferred. So care needs to be taken with personal hygiene.

Thank you.

Candida Question #13 Is Itchy Vagina A Sign Of Candida Yeast Infection?

Why is my vagina so itchy? What can I do to relieve the itchiness of vaginal itching?

There are many reasons why vaginal itching may occur. Here are some of the best solutions, which I’m going to read out to you from my book, eleven different solutions, which I think are some of the best you can try. It’s important if you get recurring itching certainly to get checked out by your doctor or gynecologist to make sure that there are no underlying problems there.

The first thing to do is to avoid sexual relations with a person, you know, particularly if you have a genital infection or itch just in case you’re passing a condition on to somebody else and they’re going to pass it back to you. So that’s one of the first things you do until you resolve the issue is refrain from intimate relations.

If you’ve got repeated issues with vaginal itching, be careful of tight clothing in the area and wear more loose clothing; that makes sense.

Third issue is avoiding nylon underclothing, so wear cotton that can breathe. This is very important to do. It’s going to allow more air to the area. So wear cotton garments and loose garments. Use non-perfume soap and be careful of any hygiene products you use which may aggravate or irritate the area.

Avoid douches. In chapter five in Candida Crusher is a whole chapter on chronic vaginal candidiasis, which will give you some very good approaches to vaginal yeast infections. There’s my two-step approach which is excellent which works in clearing up a chronic vaginal infection in a few months. If you follow it carefully, you’ll get outstanding results particularly if you’ve been diagnosed with a vaginal yeast infection.

When at home when you can, leave undergarments off as often as you can to allow air to circulate through the region; that makes sense, too. Be particularly careful if you’re using any toys during sexual relations. Don’t laugh here, but I once worked with a doctor and I saw quite a lot of gay and lesbian patients who were involved in these sorts of things that I found sometimes that using vibrators and sex toys can create a huge problem with people, so be sure that these things are clean when you use them.

Watch out for scratching or rubbing irritated tissue around the vagina. This can cause a lot of problems, too. You can also be more prone to infections if you do those sorts of things. So keep your fingernails short and watch for scratching or rubbing.

As I mentioned previous, if you can’t resolve the condition very soon, you need to get an expert opinion. Go to your doctor or gynecologist; have a smear test done, get checked out to make sure that you find the cause of this chronic itching.

Are you menopausal or post-menopausal?

This is an interesting question. Itching can occur there due to a thinning of the vaginal tissue due to low estrogen. So again, you may need to get a blood test or salivary hormone test to determine what your estrogen and progesterone levels are like and maybe have them balanced if need be.

But please do have a look at my book, Candida Crusher. There are many solutions for vaginal itching in this book. Chapter five has particularly good information for the female in it. So I hope that answers your question.

Thank you.

Candida Questions #12 I Believe My Child Has A Yeast Infection? Is That Possible?

Maria, there’s no doubt about it. Children are susceptible to the same cause and effect of yeast infections that adults are. Many children are actually born with a yeast infection because the mother had a vaginal yeast infection when she gave birth to the child. Furthermore, many children today are not breast fed for long enough, I find. And many infants will be placed on cow’s milk, formulas, predisposing them to digestive problems leading to antibiotics, which again can precipitate a yeast infection.

Too many children in my clinic take antibiotics. Antibiotics are one of the most important causative factors in determining a child’s yeast infection. Some children I see take 10, 20, 50, even a 100 rounds of antibiotics before they’re even five years of age; it’s unbelievable. Many doctors still freely prescribe antibiotics.

Children also love to eat a lot of sweat foods, ice creams and lollies and chocolates and things like that, which will further the yeast infection. Think about a child with an itchy anus, itchy rectum, you may find this child has a worm infection. Many children with worms or parasites also have yeast infections.

So to answer your question, yes, children are certainly prone towards yeast infections and benefit very much so from my Candida Crusher program.
