My children has diaper rash is it candida?

Thanks for tuning in. Is diaper rash Candida? Do babies get yeast infections? Of course they do. Babies get yeast infections quite a lot. If you think about the diaper how it sits there around the baby’s backside and genital region, it’s all sort of contained there with moisture and the heat; it’s a perfect breeding ground for yeast.

Yeast is very common with children. They often get oral thrush and they also get diaper rash, too. The way to get rid of that really is to make sure the diaper is changed frequently. If it’s quite a severe irritation around the area, I recommend that you change a diaper much more regularly using cotton diapers for a while, is quite a good idea. Other people disagree. They say that the disposables are better because they wick the water or take it more away from the skin. The choice is yours really, but the thing is to keep the area dry and clean and frequent changes.

There are different antifungal powders you can use, natural ones you can get from the health food shop as well. Sunlight exposure is another good idea. A bit of calendula cream on the area is going to help as well, but the main thing is dryness and cleanliness.

Also look at the diet of the baby because you may be giving the infant a formula containing a lot of sugar, so many formulas contain large amounts of sugar. And if you find that to be a problem, you might want to switch formulas. You may want to use goat’s milk, for example. Just check the sugar content if you’re using any powders, and if you’re breastfeeding, also make sure that you yourself have not got a diet high in sugars that can contribute to that.

Have more fats in the diet if you’re breastfeeding. Avocados are very good breastfeeding food. Tahini, which is a ground sesame seed paste. Various oils in your diet. Maybe some flax seed oil is going to help a lot, too. Also fish like sardines or tuna with some fats in them. These things are very good for fortifying the breast milk up.

So just be careful what the baby is being fed, number one; and number two, make sure the diaper is changed frequently and a bit of sunlight exposure onto the area. These are all things that are going to help to overcome this diaper rash, and diaper rash is usually fungal in origin.

So I hope that answers your question. Thank you.

Can baking soda help with candida infection?

Thank you for tuning in. Is baking soda and molasses good for Candida? What a weird question. Who would want to mix baking soda and molasses together for Candida, for a yeast infection? I get all these emails from people with wacky cures for Candida. One guy recommends to put a little bit of battery acid in water, just a teaspoon, and drink that. People come up with the craziest ideas on how to eradicate Candida. Crazy people often have crazy ideas.

Why the hell would you want to have molasses with yeast infection or even mix it with something like sodium bicarbonate, baking soda? It’s not really a good idea. People have got this weird idea that if they neutralize the acidity in the body, if they adjust the pH with things like bicarbonate, for example, that they can eradicate Candida. It’s pretty dumb. It doesn’t really work. It’s not going to work at all.

The only way you’re going to eradicate Candida properly is by a multi-stage approach, which I’ve talked about many times on my videos. Lifestyle, diet, looking at stresses in your life, taking an antifungal kind of an approach, to both diet and a supplement, and then just being persistent and persistent long enough. Looking at how you live and all these sorts of things need adjusting. Just with swallowing a drink with a concoction or something is not going to work. These are silver bullets and magic cures that people seem to think are going to work. It’s almost as crazy as thinking you can cure Candida in 12 hours. Weird.

Definitely don’t take molasses, bicarbonate or baking soda. I take it the person is meaning bicarbonate soda, we can use sometimes for neutralizing things in the body like over acidity in the gut, but I would use bicarbonate of soda to clean out the source. But if there’s a bit of burn in there – my wife does that. She’ll put some water in there, a bit of bicarbonate and then heat that up. I wouldn’t use bicarbonate for other reasons. Some people claim it even cures cancer.

It’s up to you. If you want to believe these sorts of things and try them out, but often people argue who’ve tried these things out send me emails saying you had major aggravations or severe die off. When you’re going to try these crazy things, there is a possibility you’re going to get a crazy result, and it’s generally not in your favor either. The crazy result will often be a major aggravation.

I wouldn’t recommend you try the baking soda approach with molasses. It’s not really a good idea. I hope that answers your question.

Thank you.

Is it good to take antifungal for faster candida treatment?

Here’s a question I get asked from time to time. Is an antifungal good against Candida?

Well, it is. It’s a very good idea to take an antifungal medication of some sort. There are different kinds of antifungals. You’ve got pharmaceutical antifungals and you’ve got natural antifungals. The pharmaceutical antifungals are not generally a good idea for many different reasons.

There are about three or four different classes of pharmaceutical antifungal drugs. The common one people take are what we call the “zole” drugs, fluconazole, for example, ketoconazole, there’s many different types of “zole” drugs, and there are different classes for “zole” drugs. But the common one people take, for example, would be fluconazole. These drugs do have quite strong antifungal activity, but, unfortunately, they’ve got strong side effects as well. And some of these side effects include liver toxicity, even liver damage; and for some people, they can even create anaphylactic reactions like acute, strong allergic immune reactions. And also they clash with a whole lot of other different pharmaceutical medications that people may be taking like, for example, benzodiazepines, different kinds of heart medications, SSRIs or these antidepressants like Prozac, for example, chemotherapy drugs, so there’s a lot of reactions that occur with these “zole” drugs and liver toxicity. So I’m not a big fan of these kind of medications at all. Many people get sick from taking these drugs. When you stop taking them, often the yeast infection will come back because you’ve made no changes, you’ve just been taking this drug.

Natural treatment is a much better option. Antifungals are very, very effective naturally. You don’t need to take pharmaceuticals. And a lot of university studies and research is showing that natural things like grapefruit seed extract and garlic and Caprylic acid work just as well, if not better, than drugs like fluconazole, so you don’t need to take pharmaceutical drugs for fungal conditions. And, in fact, some natural antifungal supplements like Caprylic acid have a good balancing effect on the stomach acidity, which makes it quite hostile for Candida to live in that region and further down. Because when you change the tummy acidity and start balancing it normally again, you’re going to improve. And when the pancreas works and the duodenum, the small intestine, you’re going to facilitate absorption and you’re going to get rid of Candida, so Caprylic acid is pretty good.

Grapefruit seed extract, garlic, berberine, clove, Neem; there are many different kinds of antifungal ingredients. There are other videos you’ll see where I talk about rotating antifungals. It’s not necessary if you’re taking a good product, you don’t really need to rotate them. Something that contains all of these things – and that’s where I credit Canxida for that reason – so you don’t have to rotate antifungals.

I hope that answers your question about is antifungal good against Candida. It is a very good move.

A couple of tips for you with antifungals. As you start to improve, reduce your dosage, so cut down on the dosage gradually. And if you do that over about a two- or three-month period, you’ll find if the symptoms stay away, then you can cut down even further and eventually stop it. If the symptoms come back, just slowly increase. To avoid Herxheimer or die off reactions, start slowly, especially if you’ve got a lot Candida, and make sure you cut out a lot of the junk and crappy foods early on in the diet. If you do this, you don’t usually get severe Herxheimer reaction or die off.

I hope that answers some of your questions. Thanks for tuning in.
