CanXida Restore Review

Greetings. It’s Eric Bakker, naturopath from New Zealand, author of Candida Crusher and formulator of Canxida, the Candida dietary supplements of choice. Thanks for tuning in. Today, I’m going to talk about why I created a second product as part of my Canxida range.

The first product I created about 18 months ago now is called Canxida Remove. Canxida Remove took a long time to make. And, in fact, it’s proving to take a long time to reformulate and to create a new batch of this product. Mainly because of the exacting nature that I have regarding the supply of raw materials. It’s very important to me that I get the best raw materials I can, and these raw materials have to go through quite a stringent process of checking to make sure (a) their the correct herb that requested, (b) they contain no contaminants or microbial contamination, and (c) the other thing that I’m very passionate about is the product is actually manufactured properly. It’s put together in a very special proprietary way. This has made Canxida Remove the exceptional product that it is today. Thanks for the feedback. We’ve had feedback from thousands of people now. This is an amazing product. I can tell by the response that I’m getting from people. It’s been my dream to create the best products I can find when it comes to Candida yeast infections and gut problems in general.

The second product I’ve made is called Canxida Restore. Canxida Restore is an enzyme formula with the best probiotics in it or a probiotic formula with the best enzymes in it, whichever way you want to slice it. It’s important to consider a top quality probiotic made with the right raw materials. But more importantly, one that doesn’t contain any fructooligosaccharides or prebiotics and also a probiotic that contains the best enzymes to partner up with it. I’m going to explain all this in this video so you understand why I made this formula and why it’s going to be a very successful companion to Canxida Remove. Having a good antifungal/anti-bacterial/anti-parasite product is very important with yeast infections. But even more important that you partner it up with the best possible companion product, which is a probiotic enzyme.

Many people will be used to taking products like ThreeLac or Floracor or any one of a number of products on the market like that. I’ve used all of these products. I’ve used thousands of products on Candida patients. And, in fact, this is what drove me to make my own products because I got disillusioned with a lot of the feedback I got from people. It’s different for you folks out there because if you have a problem and you buy a product, and it is going to either work or it doesn’t work.

In my situation, I treat thousands of people like you, so I get feedback all the time. I know what works. I know what doesn’t work. And I’m always trying to have something in my clinic that works the best time and again. I constantly get good feedback from it, and that’s why I got sick and tired of using other peoples’ stuff and I thought it’s time to make my own. The confirmation I’m getting from Canxida Remove gave me a huge amount of confidence to be able to now think I need to create a really good range of Candida products. And not only create them, but keep making them better and better and better. As new tools come a long, I’ll make better products. I can guarantee you that. In fact, we’re reformulating the Canxida Remove to contain oregano oil, which I missed out on in the first batch because I couldn’t get the right oregano oil. I finally found the right kind of product raw material, so that product should be released hopefully very soon.

The Canxida Restore contains seven different enzymes and six different probiotics. I’ve picked the four best, lactobacillus beneficial bacteria, the four best strains, four best species, and I’ve also picked the two top bifida. So I’ve gone for lacto and bifida, mainly because the lacto support small intestine; the bifida support large intestine. I’ve put no FOS in this product, so no inulin, or artificial sugars. Even though they’re made from natural sources, I don’t think it’s a good idea to put prebiotics in any kind of a dietary supplement, particularly a Candida product, or a product for irritable bowel or inflammatory bowel. I think it’s a bad move. FOS feeds up clostridia, E.coli, and different kinds of bacteria that could be regarded as undesirable. FOS can create bloating and accelerate brain fog in a lot of people. I’ve seen this first hand when I used to use Floracor, so this is a product I used quite a while on patients. I’ve used ThreeLac as well, and it contains canola oil and all sorts of different sugars in that. I just didn’t get the results I was looking for. I think it’s a good idea to take these sugars out of the diet, out of a dietary supplement, and to get you folks eating the right kind of vegetables and fruits because you can eat some fruits with a yeast infection. So you need to read more in my book, Candida Crusher, to understand that or go to yeastinfection.org.

This is going to be an excellent companion to Canxida Remove is the Canxida Restore. Again, I’ve picked enzymes. I’ll read out the list of the enzymes. These are really high quality enzymes made by one of the top manufacturers in the U.S.: amylase, hemicellulase, protease, invertase, and glucoamylase. As you can see, a lot of these enzymes are going to work on different kinds of starches, different kinds of carbohydrates, different kinds of proteins, and also fats. We’re going to help the body break down the food, assist the digestion, just make it more easy for digestion to work. This is going to be of particular benefit for you because it’s going to allow the intestinal tract to receive food in a greatly reduced state, easier for bacteria to work on, easy for beneficial bacteria to feed on, so the enzymes work very, very well indeed with the probiotics.

I’ve also put serratiopeptidase in there. Serratiopeptidase is a systemic enzyme, so it’s not necessarily a digestive enzyme, but I put it in there anyway, and it was the most expensive component of this product. I picked a very high-grade serratiopeptidase. And it actually helps to bind to circulating immune complexes in your blood. Once it gets into the system, it will actually start to hunt down and chase up little bits of debris found in the bloodstream. It helps to mop up and clean the bloodstream. It improves digestion. It facilitates an increased immune response by clearing the highways, basically, so it’s a good clearing out product.

I’ve chosen the lactobacillus acidophilus DDS 1, so the Department of Dairy Science 1. This is the best lactobacillus for Candida by a long shot. It’s based on a human strain. It was developed by Dr. Khem Shahani. There are over 200 papers written by Dr. Shahani on probiotics. This lactobacillus is considered to be the “Cadillac” or “Rolls Royce” of the lactobacillus. It’s also extremely stable on the shelf. It’s been made with particular cryogenic particles after it was harvested that have been added to it to allow it to handle a higher temperature. And this lactobacillus acidophilus survives the stomach bypass.

Many others won’t. This one will. I’ve put in the lactobacillus casei. Casei is a really good one for mopping up immune debris, boosting various aspects of immune function, and also for stopping any potential carcinogen problem there in the large intestine. So it’s a good one for that.

The culmination of the four lactobacillus and the bifida I think is a very smart move, simple but powerful formula. Over 15 billion bacteria you’re going to get per capsule, which is enough. Dr. Shahani said that a good daily dose is between 1 and 15 billion per day, so my formula is made with about 20 to 35 percent more of the probiotic than is actually stated on the label, so there is a lot more than 15 billion per capsule. We’re looking at close to the 20 or 25 billion per capsule, but I’ve added extra ones in there in case any get affected through transport mainly. Keep this product cool, just in the pantry, in your cupboard will do well. The dosage rate for this product is two capsules per day, so you take one in the morning and you take one at night. You’re best to take them with food. There is a lot of debate whether to take them with food or away from food. Because you’re going to take the Canxida Restore a long time, it’s not really that critical if you take it with food, before food, during food, after food, between meals, whatever. I don’t really believe it makes that much difference long term with a dietary supplement. If you’re taking it short term, it’s more critical. But a product like this should be taken three to six months minimum to give you a good effect. Don’t think you can get away with taking a probiotic for just a week or two.

Look at my other videos on probiotics. I talk about implantation. How it’s important not just to eradicate Candida and bad bacteria, but it’s critical that you implant the correct bacteria in the wall of the gut to really help improve it. I hope that gives you a bit of feedback on probiotics and also on enzymes and that you learned a little bit from this video. The important things to remember are simplicity when it comes to a product, highest possible quality (very important), correct lifestyle and diet that are maintained along with a high quality product, and you’re going to get an awesome outcome. You don’t need to take tons of products. You just need to take a few very high quality products. I’ve seen too many patients waste too much money on dietary supplements. That’s why I always insist with my clients that they take just a few products, but high quality long term to get the outcome. That way they’re going to save money and not waste it and get the results they’re looking for.

How To Treat Intestinal Toxemia

Greetings. It’s New Zealand naturopath, Eric Bakker, author of Candida Crusher and formulator of the Canxida range of supplements. Thanks for checking out my video today. Today, we’re going to talk about intestinal toxemia. How can we understand what intestinal toxemia is? What can we do about it? Will it improve my health if I know about it and do something about it? That’s what this video is going to be about.

Intestinal toxemia is something that occurs to most people who live in the western world. If you are watching this video from a city – maybe it’s Los Angeles or anywhere in the States. You could be in Europe. You could be in Italy or Spain or anywhere of 100 other countries where I actually have patients. It’s amazing how Skype works. We catch up with people all over the world now. But I’m finding this similar story with people all around the world. So people living in different countries and big cities are suffering a lot from a very fast pace lifestyle, high stress lifestyle, lots of work, lots of socializing, maybe alcohol, maybe eating all kinds of different foods, lots of financial and emotional stress, not enough time to exercise, too much time on computers. I mean you’ve probably heard it all before. This could even be your lifestyle currently.

We tend to live very unnatural lifestyles today. A lot of us just don’t do enough in terms of physical exercise and make the right kind of consistent healthy long-term dietary changes. What eventually happens is we end up with digestive problems, and a lot of us have digestive problems. Nearly all patients I have seen in the last 27 years have got some kind of digestive problem. And a lot of that stems from the lack of sufficient exercise, especially as people get older, incorrect eating patterns, and the wrong kind of foods that they’re eating; I could go on and on. There are many different causes of why these digestive problems occur.

If you go to your supermarket and have a look at the section where they sell all the chemist items, you’ll see lots of products there devoted toward enticing you with their labels, particularly digestive aids. Things that settle gastrointestinal reflux, GERD, for example. There are lots of Zantac and Mylanta and Quick Ease. In America, they’ve got different names over there, I believe. But the point I’m making is there are lots of products on the shelf designed to stop the acidity of the upper digestion. There are lots of products also there for hemorrhoids. There are products there for headaches and things like this. A lot of these medicines are geared toward people taking them for symptomatic relief of something they usually cause themselves.

Toxemia occurs when you’ve got these wrong patterns. There is a big imbalance in your life in terms of diet and lifestyle. You’re going to end up with things like bloating, gas, maybe you’re overweight, you feel uncomfortable around the midriff. You have constipation. Lots of people I see have a bowel motion maybe every two or three days, some every two weeks. These sorts of problems can go on. Toxemia is an internal buildup of imbalances of bacteria and often yeast will be involved as well. What we want to do is get the balance back again and get bacteria that are a lot more beneficial happening that produce their own kinds of antibiotics, which produce a whole lot of vitamins, which produce tons of enzymes, which make you look and feel great. Lots of reasons why you need to get good bacteria back in balance with the bad bacteria. If you’ve got way too many bad ones, you’re going to have a lot of problems. Headaches, brain fog, tiredness, mood swings, body odor, lots of different things can be put down to toxemia or the buildup of toxins.

Medical people don’t really take this seriously at all. They believe that the body can magically cleanse itself from all the 80,000 plus chemicals that we’re using currently on the planet. They believe that we’ve evolved very sophisticated mechanisms for cleansing ourselves from everything, including uranium even, every bloody thing. Well, that’s not true. We haven’t developed these mechanisms at all. Many people are dying prematurely because of poor nutritional status and particularly toxemia.

The three key things that you want to look at – let’s get down to brass tax. The three core things you want to look at is understanding the relationship with what you’re eating and how you’re living. With these toxins and then make that change, obviously, into better quality food. Make good quality choices and small quantity choices. So eat less food, but high quality. That tends to be my motto. Eat small amounts of stuff that’s really good for you, and you know what’s good and what’s not good. Those choices are up to you.

Alcohol would have to be one of the most prevalent kinds of toxins that we see in society today. Caffeinated drinks and alcohol are two real big ones, so you need to think about those things. You need to make the right kind of choices, lifestyle and diet changes if you want to stop building up these toxins inside the body. Maybe you want to see a practitioner. Someone who can sit down with you, talk with you for a while, and say, “Let’s check your lifestyle out. Maybe you need to make a few changes here or a few changes there.” Because that’s what we do as practitioners. You try to educate people into identifying these blind spots, what we call scotomas or “black spots.” Maybe you don’t want to look at the black spots in your life or maybe you know what they are, but you just need someone to confirm with you that you need to make those changes. That’s the important one. That’s number one.

Number two – cleansing. Cleansing is a big one, too. Actually, cleaning your body from accumulations and levels of toxins that you’ve built up over the years. It’s important for you to identify that you have got some poisons in the system. Taking a hair sample from the back of the neck is sometimes a really good way to detect heavy metals. Most people we see will have some level of rubbish in their system and could do with a good clean out. And again, you’re better off going to a practitioner, a qualified health care professional, out there. Someone who will take you on as a patient and will say that these are some of the better ways to clean up. Some people need very light cleansing and a lot of preparatory work. Other people I see are quite good. They can go into a medium detox and others – I have done quite a lot of cleansing – they can go into quite a full on approach. That’s a key thing, too.

The third thing I want to discuss with you is the importance of probiotics. Taking a quality probiotic once per day as a maintenance long term. It’s going to go a long way toward helping you achieve the beneficial level of bacteria in the gut. Make you feel pretty good. Give you a lot of energy as you get older. It helps you stave off a lot of acute and chronic diseases caused by poor immune function. Remember that the bulk of your immune system is in your digestive system. Up to 60 percent, we estimate, of the immune system is actually in the first three inches, the first 75 mils, of the small intestine. A lot of that is lactobacillus acidophilus. Don’t kid yourself. You don’t need to get 150,000 different strains or trillions of bacteria, all this sort of crap. It’s not really true. You need to get a high quality product with three, four, or even more of the most beneficial lactobacillus strains and a few bifida bacteria thrown in. By doing that, you’re going to ensure you’re getting a lot of bacteria for both the small and large intestine. You’re going to create this efficient lactic acid environment to build up other beneficial bacteria. You don’t need to take 50 different types of bacteria. It’s not that important really.

Check out the new product I’ve developed called Canxida Restore. I put in lactobacillus acidophilus DDS1 developed by Dr. Khem Shahani. Khem did an incredible amount of research in lactobacillus. More than any other scientist in the world, so I’m really proud to have this particular probiotic in my product. It’s an exceptional product. Check out Canxida Restore at Canxida.com. Taking something like that once per day long term is going to go a long way toward building robust health.

How To Reverse Bacteria Imbalance in Gut

Greetings. New Zealand naturopath, Eric Bakker, author of Candida Crusher. Thanks for tuning into this video today. I’m going to talk about the imbalances of the microflora. How things get tipped over. How we end up getting too many bad bugs in the system and not enough good bugs in the system. It’s very important you understand that a lot of the causes of gut problems usually have the origin in the person killing off large amounts of beneficial bacteria.

Here are some of the typical ones. I’ll just read them out. Traveling is one, of course. People who go traveling to different countries or people who go on holidays. Often there is some element of stress there. There will be different foods. There will be alcohol. This is one way of getting a lot of bugs into the gut. I see many different patients all the time on Skype from different countries or people who have gone to the Islands. For example, people here in New Zealand and Australia, they’ve traveled to the islands like Vanuatu, Fiji, Thomas, Samoa, those sort of places. Eaten maybe some dodgy food. Dodgy is a word we use for not so good in Australia and New Zealand. You know what I mean. Or perhaps have gone to maybe Vietnam, Thailand, or one of these countries and eaten food at a roadside store that wasn’t too good. Drinking water in one of these Asian countries is a sure fire way of picking up a bug or a waterborne disease like Blastocystis, for example, easy to pick up when you’re in Asia.

Changing food habits. Another typical one is people who tend to have weird jobs or shift workers. I see lots of these kind of people. Again, people who travel will often have changes in food habits as well, so try to stick with a regular healthy fresh diet. Eat three reasonably good-sized meals a day, maybe a couple of small snacks in between, but try to be regular with your times because it will really improve your digestive system. People who change all the time often end up with some type of gut problem.

Diets high in sugars. We see this a lot with people. Takeaway foods. If you go to MacDonald’s, Burger King or one of these places, even Subway, you know you’re going to often get a lot of sugar in your diet from all that starchy bread that they feed you or those sundaes or shakes or chocolate or confectionary. There are many ways you’re going to get sugar in your diet. Sugar will really help to build up the bad forms of bacteria and particularly yeast; in general, it will feed yeast up, which will be very competitive to the lactobacillus. Foods high in sugar. You look at the tens of thousands of grocery lines that you’re going to get now from the supermarket; well over half contain some kind of sugar. I believe that a third of all foods now packaged contain some element of artificial sugars in them, but a lot of foods contain refined sugar.

High heat-treated products. So again, a lot of processed foods. Foods that have been processed with high temperatures like tin foods. Many foods today have been processed with heat, hydrogenated fats – the fats that get hard at room temperature – lots of sugar, lots of chemicals. Do what I do. Put a vegetable garden down, grow some of your own food, and try to get away from a lot of processed junk because it’s not going to do anything for your health.

Environmental contaminants. Again, it could be heavy metal in the food that you’re eating. For example, we had a doctor over in New Zealand a few years ago. And when I took this doctor to a conference, we went up this highway, he saw all these potato crops growing all around the sides of the highway, and he said, “Those things will be contaminated because you get a lot of rubber being released in the air from these vehicles containing heavy metals. It’s going to go into the soil.” He said, “If you check these crops, you’ll find that the soil will have some level of cadmium in it.” It’s all in the know. It’s all in the knowledge. If you know these sort of things, you can help to avoid a lot of this crap in your food and in your body by understanding that we do live in a toxic environment and we need cleaning out from time to time.

Disrupted sleep cycles affect the gut profoundly. Computer workers. I find I have a lot of IT patients, so people who spend long hours on the internet. They could stay up until 2 a.m. or 3 a.m. working on their computer, and they’re going to really affect their ability to have good sleep by doing that. They’re going to alter their gut significantly by eating at crazy hours. You can’t just have some chips and some hot chicken at 2 o’clock in the morning and then expect to sleep well the following day at night. It’s just not going to happen. It’s going to affect your immune system a lot and make you increasingly sick by having these disrupted sleep cycles.

But what about antibiotics? Antibiotics are a huge way to alter the gut function, isn’t it? The amount of antibiotics we use in food now is phenomenal. Taking a probiotic every day makes a lot of sense. Even just one capsule per day makes a lot of sense. I’ve developed a product called Canxida Restore. You’ll be able to find that at Canxida.com. Canxida Restore contains seven of the best enzymes and six of the best probiotics. I put no prebiotics in this product. I don’t believe in giving people prebiotics. They just create more problems than they solve.

Check out Canxida Restore. It might help you significantly if you’ve got a problem with your gut. Thanks for tuning in.
