How can I cope with candida yeast infection its driving me crazy?

Thanks so much for tuning into this video today. A question I get asked from time to time by people is how to cope with Candida infection. How can I get on top of this condition? How can I stop from going crazy with this condition? It’s driving me nuts. I can’t live like this anymore. I’m so sick and tired of seeing people and spending thousands of dollars on crap pills that don’t work. I’m getting stupid advice by doctors. I’ve been to naturopaths and chiropractors and osteopathic doctors. I’ve been to shaman healers and color healers and whatever healers you want to be – you’ve gone to.

Many people I see have been to 10, 20 even 100 doctors. They’ve been to every kind of physician, clinician, healer, whatever you want to call them, and they’re still not well. So how do these people get well? How do they stop from falling into a black hole in despair? How do you stop from committing suicide? Because some people I know have committed suicide with Candida. It can be that bad.

One of the most important things I say to my patients is to never give up hope of getting well. Never give up hope. If you take hope away from someone, you take their life away. This is why a lot of people – if we look at the Nazi concentration camps in Germany back in the ‘40s, the people who lived, who had the opportunity to live that had never given up on hope were the ultimate survivors. It’s quite remarkable stories you hear about survivors from the holocaust, and the people who had the opportunity that weren’t obviously put down, that had died, have the opportunity to be saved, had this unshakable belief in themselves that one day they would have an amazing life that they could see through this. Because what if they – couldn’t be taken away from them was their mind, so they kept thinking about the future.

It’s very important to live for today. Forget about yesterday. Forget about all the money you’ve spent, all the dollars, it’s all gone now. Forget about all the advice you’ve been given. It doesn’t mean anything anymore. It’s important to try to improve your health for today, but it’s even more important for never to give up hope for having an amazing tomorrow or the future. That’s what you’ve got to think about. Think about tomorrow. Think about the wonderful kind of life that you’re going to have when you get well.

By having these kind of thoughts, you’re programming the mind to stimulate parts of the nervous system that are going to induce a proper immune function. You can read about these concepts in my book, Candida Crusher. These are kind of advanced concepts that no one ever writes about when it comes to recovery from a yeast infection. The best way to recover is by following clear sets of principles and never ever, ever giving up. Some people give up and, unfortunately, don’t stay on track long enough with a good treatment. They’ll swap horses mainstream. They’ll go from one treatment to another treatment. They’ll partially recover, but it’s not quick enough. Then they’ll quickly go and buy this product off EBay or Amazon or look at iHerb and they’ll buy this like $10 supplement. They’ll go to this doctor and that doctor. Some people I see take up to 90 dietary supplements in one day. How stupid is that? They spend thousands of dollars. They keep changing. They never stay on track.
Other people I see, they jump from one diet to another. They go from this Paleo kind of diet to this kind of diet. All these changes won’t really help you at all, and in my book, I clearly write about that, that you need to follow one treatment plan long enough to see if it’s working for you or not and to make very small adjustments or changes.

Interesting story I’ll tell you which I read. I like telling stories to patients. Interesting story was when one of the Apollo missions went up to space; they shot this sort of rocket up into space. At headquarters, at Mission Control there, what they worked out was that to get this rocket back on track, they only had to make a really tiny little adjustment for this massive big machine to keep it on track, on course to the moon. They weren’t like major turns or swings. “Oh, we’ll do a 90-degree turn here.” It was like the minutest tiny adjustment. And every couple of hours and days and weeks when this thing is flying out in the space, they had to keep making the smallest of adjustments and eventually it hit the target.

So the point I’m making here is when you’re going through the Candida program, you need to make tiny adjustments, small adjustments. Don’t make huge big monumental changes here and there. You don’t need to do that. You’re going to go right off track doing that. You’ll never go on course. Small adjustments. Eat a particular food. If it doesn’t make you feel good, cut that food back or stop it. Only one food. Don’t radically change your diet. If a supplement is not making you feel good, make a small change in the dietary supplement. Don’t all of a sudden go from one pill to four pills a day. Make very tiny adjustments and be prepared to be in it for the long haul. That’s how you’re going to get on top of your Candida by keep making these micro adjustments along the way and not giving up faith in yourself and following a very good set of guidelines that are proven to help thousands of people on them. Get the health back again with Candida.

I’m not blowing my own trumpet here, but I’ve helped many thousands of people with yeast infection now for about 25 or 26 years. I’ve got a lot of free advice to give you. I don’t expect anything in return for it. Go to yeastinfection.org and check out my many articles. You’re going to find a lot of really good information there that’s going to help you get back on track and finally get rid of this thing because you can get rid of it with the right kind of change. Do my quiz. Go to CandidaCrusher.com and do my quiz right now. Whether you’re male or female, there’s two buttons there. Click on the appropriate one. Take the quiz. Then we can determine whether you’re mild, moderate or severe and we can give you the right kind of advice to recover from a condition that may have been plaguing you for years. It doesn’t have to. This is a condition you can get on top of. I don’t use “cure” words. I use “recovery” words because you can recover from Candida.

If you have the same kind of faith in yourself that I’ve probably got in most of my patients and you never give up on that and you remember my saying “Persistence breaks resistance.” If you never give up on something, you’ll eventually get what you want. And remember if you keep on thinking you’re not going to beat this thing, well, you’re probably ain’t going to beat it. But if you have this belief in yourself that I have in a lot of people and know they can do it, and I hope I’m inspiring you right now to make those decisions, and then you will beat this thing.

How long should I follow candida diet before I get rid of candida?

Thank you for tuning in. Frequently asked question. I get a lot of questions as you’ve noticed by now and this is just another question which I’m going to answer. How long should I be on the Candida diet? How long do I need to eat like this? When can I stop eating like this? When can I eat normal foods again?

People who have Candida yeast infections realize – most of them, the intelligent ones – realize that they need to change their lifestyle and their diet. Impatient ones see their diet really as a piece meal. They’ll just go on the diet for some period of time; they get off the diet and go back to what they were doing. And then, of course, they’re going to get the same health problems back again.

People end up in hot water because of faulty lifestyles and faulty diets contributing to poor health, so it’s pretty obvious that if you want to kick the yeast infection permanently, you need to change your diet permanently. You don’t need to be a brain surgeon to work that one out.

Eating good foods and then continuing to improve your diet over a period of time is going to build outstanding health because it builds really good digestive function, which is one of the primary prerequisites for good health is fantastic GI function. This will ensure that you get a superior digestion uptake and excretions, so you’re going to really push out the waste properly. The blood is going to be clean. You’re going to be getting all the nutrients you need. You’re going to be able to rebuild the cells.

It’s common sense, folks. It’s common sense. You need to be on a diet long enough to build outstanding health and then some. To be on the Candida diet itself, particularly with a strong antifungal slant, including more cultured and fermented foods, you want to adhere to this for as long as it takes to kick Candida. Which in my opinion, after treating many thousands of people, can be anywhere from 2 months up to about 9 or 12 months in general.

Once you’ve started on this route and you’re feeling excellent and your health has improved, you’ll probably find you want to continue on with this habit for many years to come. Maybe in a slightly modified form. Maybe you want to have a glass of wine here or there or a beer here or there, a bit of pizza or some cake, all the things that normal people do when they go out. Maybe you want to go out with your partner to a nice restaurant and have the meal with some wine and some desserts. These are things I enjoy.

When you’ve got good health, you can do all these things because you’ve also learned how to moderate these habits. You can’t drink alcohol every day if you’ve had a yeast infection and you’ve recovered because what you’ll find is you’ll slowly slide back again after a period of time, but you can enjoy alcohol here and there. So you need to stay on the diet as long as possible for you to recover and what you’ll find is then that you’ll modify that approach and you pop right into a normal, healthy diet.

So I hope that answers your question.

How long can it take me to get rid of candida and recover?

Thank you for checking out this video. How long it takes to recover from Candida. How long does it take to get well? Can I get well in 24 hours? Can I get well in 12 hours? Will it take 12 years? Will it take one year? How do I know how long is it going to take? If I start a particular treatment, how do I know?

Well, it really is all up to you. Some people will say to me, particularly those who’ve been chronically sick for a long time, “You never get well. It’s impossible to get well from Candida. I’ve been sick for 10 or 20 years and this is a condition you’ll take to the grave.” I’ve had a few people tell me that. I’ve had other people who tell me “I’m surprised I got well so quick. I turned this thing right around quite fast.” But I can tell you now; there are no hard and fast rules for how long it will take to recover from Candida. It could take three months. It could take six months. It could take one year.

On average after seeing thousands and thousands of yeast infection patients, I form the opinion that it takes about a year. Between six to nine months for you to feel really, really good and improve your health, but probably about 12 months before you start feeling very, very, very good, and it can take even a little bit longer for your digestive health to improve to a very high degree. Because when you start improving from Candida, your digestive health very slowly improves to start with and then it starts ramping up that improvement. You’ll improve more and more and more and more. And as you progressively improve, you’ll find a lot of things peripherally to the gut will improve.

What I mean by that is the nutrition has to basically be improved to all the cells of the body for you to start feeling really well. That’s why it can take a long time because there are trillions of cells in your body. Even the bone cells will improve, the muscle cells, the nerve cells, everything will improve over time as your digestive health improves.

Most people with Candida have got digestive problems. They have things like food allergies, leaky gut syndrome, many of them have parasites, they have bacteria, and they have multiple strains of yeast in their gut. These things take time to get rid of. Many people with Candida have digestive enzyme insufficiencies. They have hormonal imbalances. A lot of them even have muscle and nerve weakness as a result of their nutritional deficiency underpinning the Candida. These things don’t fix up in 12 hours, what a load of crap. If you think you can be cured in 12 hours, well, if you’ve come down with the last rainstorm. It ain’t going to happen. You’re not going to cure a chronic yeast infection in a matter of days or weeks. It’s just not feasible. And if you really believe that, then you’re quite foolish to believe that. So when you see these books and programs for sale “Cure Your Yeast Infection in 12 Hours,” it’s a load of nonsense and people fall for these scams all the time. There is a lot of trickery and con artists on the internet.

I’ve never ever made the suggestion that you can quickly cure your yeast infection. What you can often get rid of quite quickly are many of the acute symptoms, but what you’ll find is, it’s only symptomatic treatment. As soon as you stop that symptomatic treatment, the symptoms will come back. This is how pharmaceutical medicine has made all its trillions of dollars by symptom suppression and symptom eradication. They give you pills or shots or treatments to get rid of symptoms, but the underlying problem remains. So as soon as the treatments stop, the problem comes back again.

Intelligent people don’t want to treat symptoms. They want to eradicate causes, so they don’t have the end result which are the symptoms. And that’s how we as naturopathic physicians gain our expertise over time is we help people identify the core triggers in their life, and once these are met and its understood about the maintaining and the exciting triggers, people deal with these adequately, make the right changes, they’ll find their health comes on track steadily and surely.

Really, it’s all up to you. The ball’s in your court. The more you apply the correct principles, eat the right foods, have the correct balanced lifestyle, the quicker you’re going to recover. There’s no doubt about it. There is absolutely no doubt about it. It’s all up to you. It’s not up to me. It’s not up to your doctor. It’s not up to your mother-in-law or your sister or whatever. It’s all up to you. You’re the one who decides which direction you’re going to as far as healing is concerned.
