Will my candida stay forever if I dont treat it on time?
Good day there, Eric Bakker, naturopath, author of Candida Crusher. Here’s a question.
Eric, I have read that if I have a yeast infection for a long time, I will always have a yeast infection inside me and it will never go away. Is this true?
Well, what do you think? That’s pretty gloom and doom, isn’t it? The worst thing you can do is give up hope. I believe that there are a very small percentage of people that will never get well in spite of whatever they do. And there are various reasons why people don’t want to get well. I’ve written in detail about this in my book, Candida Crusher.
Most people get well, but some people take long to get well; some people take much longer to get well; and a small percentage never ever get well. But that percentage is only a minority of all the people with a yeast infection. You should never ever believe or think that you will not get well. That’s very counter toward the healing mechanism. Always have that hope and belief that you’re going to fully recover regardless of what you’ve got. Whether it’s a stroke or yeast infection or broken leg or heart operation, you should always keep that hope inside your heart that you’re going to get well because this is going to help speed your recovery significantly.
There’s a very big chance that you will get well if you do the right things. If you follow the right advice, if you eat the right foods, if you live the right lifestyle, your body has an internal healing mechanism that is always striving toward autonomy. It’s always trying to heal your body. If you cut your hand, it will heal. If you have a hangover, a day or two later, your hangover’s gone. If you get sunburn, the skin will peel; you’ll have nice skin again. There are all these mechanisms built into your body to help recovery. If you have anxiety or depression, which most people have at some stage in their life, you’ll recover. But some people don’t recover and why would that be?
It’s not that easy to explain. But I have written about this in my book. And if you want to read more, Candida Crusher, you can read more about why people don’t recover, and also some of the obstacles to cure or the blocks in your path that could be preventing you from recovery. You could be doing something right now that’s stopping your body from healing. You could be doing it knowingly or unknowingly. It could be what I call a hidden obstacle, and I explain a lot more about those in my book.
So don’t believe what you read necessarily. Not everything you read is the truth. I’ve certainly seen that on forums and websites and a lot of books. I’ve also been told that the world’s going to end. Hasn’t happened yet; still waiting for it.
So I believe it will go away, but I think you need to keep a positive frame of mind and also hang around some positive, inspiring people because they will help to pick you up and maybe give you that belief that you need in yourself that you will recover one day.
So I hope that answers your question. Thank you.
