How can I clear up vaginal yeast infection fast?

Good day, Eric Bakker, naturopath, author of Candida Crusher with another frequently asked question.

What’s the best way to clear up a vaginal yeast infection?

There are a lot of ways you can clear up a vaginal infection. I think a good thing for you to really do is to look at a two-stage approach, which I talk about extensively in the fifth chapter of my book, Candida Crusher.

Chapter 4 I call the quick start guide and you can see all about the best douching protocols to use and the best way to get on top of your vaginal infection if it’s acute and you only get it from time to time. If it’s chronic and recurring, a clever thing for you to do first is to make sure that it is a yeast infection and not bacterial vaginosis or a condition we call BV. BV is quite common, and you can read more about this in my book. There is, in fact, a whole chart I’ve outlined with the different types of vaginal infections and inflammations and how to distinguish between them.

A vaginal infection will be a whitish sort of discharge and be intensely itchy. And a good way to clear it up, I think, is premenstrually and post-menstrually. Premenstrually look at a treatment that’s going to help to clear an infection because premenstrually is when the lining of the endometrium is building up and you’re going to get a mucous change occurring there in the female reproductive system. This is a key time to work on yeast infections.

When you’ve gone through your period and you’re on the other end there after your period is a good time to build up the health of the vagina. So it’s important for you to get on top of this yeast infection because I’ve seen too many women treat a vaginal infection with creams and applicators and fluconazole and drugs like diflucan. In time, many of them end up with conditions like endometriosis, polycystic ovarian syndrome, all sorts of gynecological complications. You don’t want to go there, so you need to get on top of these infections. If they’re chronic, there’s a big chance you can still recover from this infection.

So have a good look at my two-stage protocol in my book, Candida Crusher. It’s helped thousands of people overcome their vaginal infection. I’ve treated many people now. So I’m sure you can get some success there as well.

So I hope that answers your question. Thank you.

Will my bad breath will go away if I treat yeast infection?

Good day there, Eric Bakker, naturopath, author of Candida Crusher with a question.

My breath is really bad and I have a yeast infection. Will the bad breath go away when I’m cured?

Well, bad breath can come from many different reasons. Look at your diet, for example. Are you eating the right kind of foods? Are you keeping your teeth and gums clean? What does your tongue look like? Is it pale; is it white?

I’m going to do a lot more videos on tongue signs and symptoms, but suffice it to say, if you’ve got bad breath, look at your tongue. If there’s a white coating on it, you’ve probably got poor bacteria and yeast in your digestive system. So coating at the back of the tongue will signify a problem further down; the sigmoid colon or rectum.

So with bad breath, try these tricks. Look after your gums and teeth quite well. Don’t forget to brush your tongue, something a lot of people don’t do. Pop your toothbrush in a bit of water with hydrogen peroxide at night to kill any bacteria, and make sure you floss your teeth quite well and look after your gums. It’s very important. Chew your food properly. Take some digestive enzymes. Don’t eat in front of screens. One in five people in America now have one of their meals of the day in front of Facebook, and a lot of people have their evening meal watching the six o’clock news. It’s not a good idea. So make sure you develop some good habits and chew food properly and slowly away from screens. And take your time when you’re eating your meal.

Eating a good wholesome, fresh foods diet is going to help a lot to prevent bad breath. I’ve seen quite a few patients just live on meat and potatoes, for example, and have not many vegetables in their diet. Seventeen percent of people in England don’t even eat any fruit or vegetables. That’s quite a lot isn’t it? Try and develop some good healthy habits first before you start looking further afield with halitosis, another word for bad breath.

A key thing I look for in people is stomach problems. You could well have an infection called, helicobacter pylori or H-pylori, and I’ll do some videos on H-pylori and explain this concept more in detail.

So there’s a big chance that your bad breath will go away when your digestion’s cleared up. So I hope that answers your question about bad breath and yeast infections. Thank you.

Is bloating caused by yeast infection? If I have yeast infection will it cause bloating and gas?

Good day there, Eric Bakker, naturopath and author of Candida Crusher. Here’s another question I get asked from time to time.

Can a yeast infection cause bloating?

Very much so; bloating is one of the key digestive problems that many are likely to encounter with a yeast infection, bloating, gas and burping.

These are key things I find with people. People with bloating have to loosen the waist band after a meal. Are you the kind of person who wants a dessert after your meal or like ice cream or pudding or something sweet or like a biscuit with a cup of coffee or a cup of tea or a cookie? These are reasons why people get bloating. They have a meal and they put sugar on top of the meal or they have sugary meals between meals. So you’re basically feeding up the yeast and causing what I call fermentative dysbiosis. So you’re causing fermentation in the gut, which creates gas and bloating. And how does it get out? Through the anus there, through flatulence.

Are you a person who passes a lot of wind? It could well be a yeast infection. And you may well have other signs and symptoms as well. Look at some of my other videos to see if you can recognize any of the other signs and symptoms of a yeast infection.

I hope that clears up your question because a yeast infection can certainly cause bloating and you can read a lot more about all these digestive signs and symptoms in Chapter 3 of my book, Candida Crusher.

Thank you.
