Candida Question #58 Can Yeast Infection Cause Numbness In My Vagina During Sex?

Well, it shouldn’t really do that, and this is of some concern to me when I hear you say something like that. I would prefer that you go and see your gynecologist and have an internal done, get checked out properly, maybe an ultrasound, have a smear, and get checked out properly to see what’s going on there.

We could be dealing with all sorts of different conditions. It certainly needs more investigation if there’s numbness there. It makes me think if there’s something wrong with your lower back. There could be all sorts of things going on there.

A yeast infection is not usually linked with numbness or loss of sense of vaginal sensation there during sex. My reply to that one would be to get checked out properly, and if nothing’s going on, if it’s all a normal diagnosis, then perhaps to go and see a natural medicine doctor or integrative doctor to look for proper treatment. This is something you certainly don’t want to play around with at home and do home treatments; numbness, it warrants some serious investigation.

Candida Question #57 Should I Visit A Doctor Or Take OTC Medication For Yeast Infection?

That’s a good question. That really depends on how chronic or severe your condition is and whether you’ve had it before, if it’s recurring, if it’s acute, there are many considerations here. If it’s acute and you haven’t really had it before, you can try some home remedies or some over-the-counter treatments. If it’s chronic and recurring, you’re best to get checked out and make sure that you get a resolution of this problem before it gets out of hand. You don’t want to have a chronic condition recurring, try home treatment, and just drive it further into the body.

I’ve seen many women with acute thrush issues, home treat, go to the doctor, get chronic treatment, then go back and home treat and end up with conditions like endometriosis, which I find quite often linked up with chronic recurring thrush.

So you can treat at home, but if there’s no resolution, you need to get checked out and a proper diagnosis before you can consider proper treatment. Once you know what you’re dealing with, then you can treat them more adequately or work out whether you want to have conventional medical treatment or natural treatment.

Naturally, I’m going to recommend natural treatment. And in my book, Candida Crusher, in Chapter 5, you can read all about this. There are many solutions and I’ve helped many thousands of women with vaginal infections overcome this problem with natural treatment. If that’s the avenue you wish to explore, then I applaud you for taking that step because you can get a good result with natural treatment without having to resort to pharmaceutical drugs and many women have.

So the choice is yours. Don’t let people push you into making decisions that you may later regret. Pharmaceutical drugs do work, but they work at a big price; a lot of side effects and suppression of symptoms and ultimately no cure. So it’s your call. You think about it.

Candida Question #56 I Have Discharge But No Itching Could It Be Yeast Infection?

Of course it could be. You don’t necessarily have to have itching when you’ve got a yeast infection. Some yeast infections can drive women absolutely crazy and involve lots of itching. Others can involve more discharge and have minimal or no itching.

But to be on the safe side, I recommend you get diagnosed properly. It would pay to go and have a smear done. Go and see your doctor or gynecologist and get checked out properly to assess what is going on. There could be all sorts of conditions. You could have bacterial vaginosis, it could be Candida, and it could be all sorts of different conditions. First get a diagnosis before you think about treatment.

It could be a yeast infection and a good way is to get checked out. So, I think that’s probably a clever thing for you to do. Then once you’ve worked out what you’ve got, you’re going to be in a better position to know how to treat that particular condition.

For more information, have a look at my book, Candida Crusher. You can read a lot more about that in Chapter 3. I hope that answers your question. Thank you.
