Natural Treatment for Gallstones

Greetings! Eric Bakker, naturopath from New Zealand. Thanks for checking out my video. This is just another video in the gallstone series. We’re going to talk about the best treatment for gallstones. Please check out my video which I have done previously on liver detox, and also liver and gallbladder flushing. I’m pretty sure I’ve done those already.

Doing a liver cleanse is a very smart idea, a liver detox, but I generally recommend you do that after you’ve gained a reasonable amount of wellness. If you have a bowel problem or a Candida problem or a parasite problem, it really pays for you to tidy these areas up first and get to a high level of health before you start doing detox.

Many people have got a poor level of bacteria in their gut, lots of yeast infection there, bacteria or SIBO problems, leaky gut, and they try and do major detox and cleanses and have multiple colonics and coffee enemas and they start using all this kind of weird stuff to try and clean out the gut. This can really irritate and upset a person. I prefer that you get your health up to a reasonable level before you get into cleansing and not use cleansing as the main way to get well. It’s not a good idea. There’s a different between, I should say cleanse and a detox. What I should’ve said is detoxing is not a good idea to get an amazing level of health. You should try and obtain a reasonable level of health before you start doing a detox. A cleanse is a little bit different from a detox. I’ve written about this in Candida Crusher. Cleansing in my mind means taking crap out of your diet, getting involved with exercise and lifestyle changes, doing all the things you can to make your body healthier.

Detox is entirely different. That to me means that you’re going to actually take things to help purge and remove rubbish from the body. That often includes dry skin brushing, saunas, colonics, things like that. That’s just based on my experience.

A good treatment for gallstones? Diet. Naturally. You’re going to work with a high quality diet, which is cleansing in its own right. Eating the right kind of foods which I’ve mentioned in a previous video. The bitter foods. Avoiding the sugars and the bad fats. Initially, if you’re very sick with a gallstone problem, you may need to even to avoid coconut oil and fat. I’ve seen many people get very sick and feel terrible after taking even a tablespoon a day. But after their gallbladder got cleaned up, they could tolerate it quite easily.

Doctors will tell you that there’s no link between feeling sick and gallstones, but I can tell you that’s a load of crap. There is. Many people with a gallstone problem can’t tolerate a fatty diet. It can make them feel very sick. If you’re like that, you may have a gallstone problem. And in that case, you may want to do some cleansing and work your way towards a liver and gallbladder flush.

Digestive enzymes are a very smart move for a person with a liver or gallbladder problem. Why? Because you still want the body to break up fats efficiently. You want to have a very good digestive function. You may well have compromised stomach, pancreatic problem, as well as a gallbladder problem.

Check out my CanXida Restore product. It’s a very powerful enzyme probiotic combination which I use for people with all kinds of digestive problems. It’s not just for Candida patients. I use it very often for people with a gallstone problem. I use it for people with indigestion. Inflammatory bowel disease. Irritable Bowel disease. Small intestinal bacterial problem. Leaky gut syndrome. Food allergies. There are many reasons I would use that product.

The other thing I should tell you is food allergies are very closely linked with gallstone formation. In a few studies, they found that a very high percentage of people with gallstones had a food allergy, so by continually eating that food, it helped and sharply contributed to gallstone formation. Get checked out if you suspect that you’re very sensitive to a food or have an allergy to a food, because it may mean that you’re contributing towards a gallstone problem.

When I went to Seattle in 2003, I went to a very interesting seminar and had Dr. Alan Gaby speaking from America who believes there’s a very powerful link between food allergy and gallstone. So if you’re a female watching this and you suspect you’ve got a food allergy and you can relate to the four Fs we spoke about: Forty, Fat, Fertile, Flatulent, you may be a sitting duck for a gallstone problem.

Let’s just summarize that again. The best treatment for gallstones? Awareness of allergens in the diet and to take them out. Bitter foods to include into the diet. Removal of wrong kind of fats, and maybe a lot of fats initially, and especially sugars, sweet foods from the diet. Very important considerations to make when it comes to treatment.

Also, weight loss is a key thing. It’s invariable that most people that are overweight and especially obese people. Obese people will all have gallstones. They’ll be full of gallstones. If you’ve had a recent sharp weight loss, you could also be a candidate for gallstones. Many women I’ve found that when they lose weight rapidly, the liver has to work very hard at burning up the fat. The bile flow becomes impaired and the stones become very much formed. I’ll show you some pictures now of a lady who exactly that happened to with rapid weight loss and she had five flushes.

These are five separate gallbladder flushes, and on each flush, you can see clearly all these different gallstones coming out just from five different flushes. Photos like this I’ve seen hundreds and hundreds of times from patients which I’ve worked with to do successful gallbladder flushes over the years. Don’t be scared of doing a gallbladder flush. I know. As I’ve mentioned, I’ve personally supervised in an excess of a thousand women to do this flush. I know one doctor in Australia, he’s done over ten-thousand flushes with patients. Don’t let the medical professionals scare you and make you think that you will die some awful painful death if you do a gallbladder flush. You can clearly see from these pictures you can remove this crap from the body.

So, treatment again: do the gallbladder flush. You can google it. You can find this sort of information online. I’m not the only one who does flushes. I’ve done flushes for probably 25 years with patients. Basically involves lemon juice and olive oil. It’s a simple procedure. Or you can be like me and just include lemon juice and olive oil into your diet on a regular basis, which is going to help to stop the formation of gallstones anyway, especially if you have a lot of lemon juice and quite a bit of olive oil. This will help considerably.

Don’t forget: Diet, take some digestive enzymes like CanXida Restore is going to help quite a lot. I also often recommend anti-microbial. There’s many people with gallstones that actually harbor parasites in their body. We know that gallstones can contain bacteria or parasites and form a focal point for bugs to live in. So check out the CanXida Remove. That’s going to help a lot with that. Especially if you do a gallbladder flush, take CanXida Remove, take the Restore before during and after the flush, and you’ll come out looking quite good.

That’s it for this video. Don’t forget to click on the link if you haven’t got my shopping list, subscribe, and we’ll see you in the next video. Thanks for tuning in.

How To Get Rid of Gallstones

Greetings! Eric Bakker, naturopath from New Zealand. Author of Candida Crusher. I really appreciate you checking out this video. This is another video in the gallstone series. I’ve decided to repeat a video on gallbladder flush because it’s so important. I’m quite sure I’ve completed one previously, but it’s good to have an additional one in this series of gallstones, so you can keep on watching this series right through.

This is going to quite an interesting video you may want to watch once or twice because it’ll be packed with information. Before we go further, drinking water. Are you drinking water? It’s important for your digestion. Many people have contacted me over the years asking me how they can clean up their liver and gallbladder. The procedure we’re going to talk about is one that’s quite popular. You’ll find many versions of this on Dr. Google. Many people have done this flush. When attempted and done successfully, you will excrete gallstones. It’s incredible how many people have got gallstones in their body.

I’ve just had a look at a very interesting major medical website in America where they said, “Don’t attempt this at home. It’s dangerous without supervision. It’s unproven. It won’t work. These therapies fail. There are no known treatments that help to expel gallstones from the body. No known treatments will expel gallstones, doctors. Well, what’s this? It’s not scotch mist. It’s not popcorn gone wrong. It’s gallstones. They do work.” You’d be surprised how many GPs have asked me if they can do a gallbladder flush.

I gave a presentation a few years ago in Australia on this topic and I had lots of doctors asking me, “Is it possible to expel gallstones from the body? I thought you’d end up in the emergency room if you did this.” For goodness sakes, what kind of stuff do they learn in medical school, other than giving medications and surgery? Remember, doctors see problems as requiring drugs, whereas, surgeons see solutions requiring a knife. Well, I don’t see problems requiring drugs or knives. I see a problem with the gallbladder requiring a solution called intelligence. You can pass these things out of the body.

Now, the procedure we’re going to talk about I’ve put easily a thousand patients through this procedure in the 30 odd years I’ve seen patients, easily a thousand patients. You do not need to fear this procedure. You’re not going to pass out a 10-pound gallstone. It’s not going to be like giving birth where something gets stuck and you need a C-section. It doesn’t work like that. Nobody has a 10-pound gallstone. If you do, You’d be an alien from another planet. Trust me. It’s not going to happen. The biggest gallstones I’ve ever seen are probably the size of the tip of the thumb, and they’re easily passed out of the bowel.

That’s like saying, “Oh my goodness! I’m afraid to have a bowel motion in case I pass out a 10-pound bowel motion.” Well, no one passes out 10-pound bowel motions. No one does that. It’s the same with gallstones. Common things happen to people commonly. All of us pass out gallstones at time to time unknowingly through our motions. What we’re going to talk about is how to expel them and remove them and keep them out of the body, so you don’t keep forming these stones.

People who live in underdeveloped countries who eat natural diets who don’t go to KFC for dinner, who don’t go down and drink Coca-Cola, who don’t go and drink wine and beer all the time or have bars of chocolate. They don’t tend to get gallstones, because they tend to eat according to the laws of nature. They eat natural food. Foods that grow in the wild that they prepare themselves. When you start living like that, if that’s your mantra: Eat healthy. Eat fresh. Eat clean, you’re much less likely to get a gallstone than if you go and have burgers all the time and fries and coke and crap like that. When you eat like that, you not only empty your bank account prematurely, but you fill up your liver and gallbladder with sludge and stones and junk like that. You don’t want to go there.

I know I’m waffling on, but let’s talk now about how to get rid of this stuff out of the body. Don’t attempt the following unless you’re pooping every day. So, if you’ve got a bowel motion every day, that’s one thing in your favor. I prefer people to have two motions a day. Healthy people in my opinion have at least two bowel motions a day. You’re pooping every day. Your diet is already clean. You’re not eating all the crappy kind of junky foods that you know you shouldn’t eat. You’re eating a pretty fresh healthy diet. Bowels are working freely, and you want to attempt this. Don’t attempt it if you’re very elderly or frail or if you’re recovering from a serious illness. Don’t attempt it if you’re pregnant or feeding. Don’t attempt it if you’re a child under about seven years of age. If you fit all this criteria, and you haven’t clicked the video off yet, let’s keep on going.

The flush is best attempted, in my opinion, with two major things: 100 percent lemon juice, and a 100 percent good quality olive oil. Now, the quantities are arbitrary. Some people have done a very good flush using a 100 mils of each. Other people tend to use 200 or 300 mils of each. It depends on how big your body is. A 400-pound woman is always going to use a lot more than a 50-pound woman. If you’re a big person, (when I say big, if you’re a person who weighs 200 pounds plus), you may want to use 300 or 320 mils. Even more than a whole glass. I assume this glass is 250 mils. That glass about that much you want of lemon juice. Now, pure citrus juices can aggravate some people with very congested livers. They can cause headaches or severe nausea. In that case, you may want to dilute it with about 50 percent water. But, you generally don’t need to do that.

Use a good quality lemon, fresh lemon. Don’t buy the juice, buy the lemons. If you grow your own on a tree, it’s even better still. You juice about 300 mils if you’re a big person, maybe 250 mils if you’re average like me. Juice it, get the pips out, put that aside in a container in a jar. You need equal quantity olive oil. You don’t need to use extra virgin, but just a good quality olive oil. Make sure it’s not some cheap stuff that you got from Wal-Mart that’s near expiring. Make sure it’s a good quality olive oil. Doesn’t have to be flavored or have stuff in it.

Mix these things together. What you want to do is schedule a time when you know you haven’t got something coming up. No point doing this flush if you’ve got a wedding two days after, or if you’re flying to Hawaii on a vacation, or if you’re getting married or something like that. Your son just got killed in a car accident. Not a good time to do the flush. If you know what I mean, pick the right time to do the flush. Friday is a good time to do it, which gives you two days to recover. You’re not going to get that sick, trust me. This flush has been done by many people I know, and most people sail through this not problem at all. At most, you might get a bit of diarrhea. Only a small percentage of people get a strong nausea or vomiting from it. Most people never do. They might get a little bit queasy, but if they lie down, they’re going to be fine with it.

Mix the lemon juice and olive oil together. Good way to get this into the body is with a straw, I find. Put it in a large container and sip it in small amounts. Some people gulp it all down, I don’t think that’s a good idea. I think about after a one-hour period consume all of that, and then retire around 7 or 8 o’ clock go to bed. Lie on your right side with your hip elevated with a pillow. This will allow the mixture to come in contact with that sphincter we talked about and help to loosen up the area. You may find a little bit of funny sensations here in the digestive region as it is contracting a little bit. That’s basically stuff coming out, which is a good sign. Usually what happens is people will wake up early in the morning and expel these stones out.

Before you lie down, a tip for you for comfort is to get some castor oil, warm it up in a pan, usually about a glass of that, about 200 mils, get an old cloth, put it in the warm water, ring it out, and apply that over the liver region on the right side. Get a bit of saran wrap or clear wrap and wrap that around two or three times, a bit like you’re wrapping up a turkey to put in the refrigerator after Christmas. Then get an old towel, apply that around the region, and then get a hot water bottle and apply it over the liver region. Then go and lie down on your right side.

I should have said that before, but remember that’s what you’re going to do. That’s going to give you digestive comfort. If you’ve got any pain or you feel a bit queasy, pushing your belly button in and holding it in for a minute or two often helps. Sometimes a little bit of light rubbing between the ribs if you find any tender spots can help settle things down a little bit. They’re all good tips to use. You’re lying down, you wake up in the morning, you’ll pass out the motion.

Many people like in this lady’s case actually collected the motions, put them through a colander, strain it and take photos like that. Not exactly the kind of photo you want to put on Snap Chat or on Facebook, where you show all your girlfriends what you passed out, but this is personal confidential information you’re doing here. At least then you’ve cleaned out. When you’ve passed out stuff, a good thing to do is wait a couple of weeks and attempt it again. Wait a couple of weeks and attempt it again You can do this flush 10, 15, 20 times until you’ve stopped passing out junk.

Once you’ve cleaned out or minimal passes out, how do you stop these things from coming back? Well, use your head. Don’t go back to the bar of chocolate a week again or the packet of chippies two or three times a week, or the lots of cookies or lots of donuts or lots of cream or lots of cream cheeses, lots of ice cream, or lots of high fat dairy food. Lots of coconut cream in your diet. All of these things are fats. Even coconut cream is a fat. Chicken skin. Fat in animal products. All of these things can contribute. Sugar very much contributes to gallstones. White bread. Ice cream. Soda drinks. All these foods.

Starting to eat a clean healthy diet, focusing on the core foods I’ve spoken about so many times in my videos. The fresh healthy foods. Nuts and seeds and berries and healthy fruits. Clean vegetables. All these things are good to eat. That’s how you’re going to stop the recurrence of gallstones.

Then maybe a year after you’ve done the flush is repeat the flush to see if there is still junk coming out. If you’ve done another big dump, then you know you need to keep doing a couple more until you get to the point like me where you pass out no more gallstones. That’s going to go a long way in your favor. I firmly believe that people with healthy gallbladders have got a much better ability to metabolize the fat-soluble vitamins. A, D, E, and K. They break fats down better. They tend to have better hormone profiles. They have a stronger metabolic rate. They can metabolize hormones a lot more effectively.

The liver performs a myriad of different actions in the body. It’s imperative for very good health that you’ve got a very clean healthy functioning liver and gallbladder. Don’t let them take it out. In most cases, the gallbladder does not need surgery and removing from the body. That’s not my opinion, that’s the opinion of the professor of medicine that I heard speaking in Australia years ago who’s personally helped over 10,000 people through this flush. Don’t let them bamboozle you and tell you that you have to get it out because usually it’s crap. Only in rare circumstances.

I hope you’ve gained some good insight into getting rid of gallstones and preventing them coming back, because it’s highly achievable by you. Thank you so much for checking out my video. How To Test For IBS: Is There IBS Diagnosis?

Eric Bakker, naturopath from New Zealand, author of Candida Crusher, creator of the Candida Crusher YouTube Channel, and also creator of the CanXida range of supplements. Thanks for checking out this series on Irritable Bowel Syndrome. This video, we’re going to talk about tests and diagnosis of IBS.

Medical practitioners have developed a set of specialized criteria to diagnose if you’ve got Irritable Bowel Syndrome or not. One is called a Rome criteria, where they’re going to basically want to know if you’ve got pain or discomfort in the abdominal area for three days in a row at least once per month for a three-month duration. That’s what they’re going to be asking you for. Then they’re going to be asking you if there’s been a change in the frequency of stool or the consistency of the motions. Those are sort of things that they look for.

They’re also going to be looking at your age. If you’re an old guy like me, about 50 plus, and you’ve had previously no kind of gut issues, that will raise one red flag. If you’ve had a sudden change in bowel motions all of a sudden, and you’re an old codger like me, bang, another flag goes up. If you’ve got rectal bleeding, a third flag goes up. Flags go up everywhere. It’s like a soccer match. They’re going to be looking basically for change. The big thing that they look for is stability and if there was a change. That will raise a lot of flags, age particularly.

They’re going to check for mucus, do a blood test, and check for bleeding. They also may screen you for Celiac, may do an anti-body test for Celiac. They may check you out for an enzyme to make sure that you break lactose down properly. They could be doing a lactose test. They could do a breath test to check for SIBO or small intestinal bacterial issues. Others may check for helicobacter.

Then there’s a series of other tests they may do. They may refer you then if they think, “Ok, well you’ve passed all these, but we’ve got a bit of a suspicion here.” So they may send you to the gastroenterologist. That’s the guy who’s got the cameras that go up in all funny areas of the body. Gastroenterology is nothing like it used to be in the old days.

I remember when my dad had a yeast infection back in the 80s. Poor old guy. He loved ice cream. He would eat 2 liters of ice cream for lunch. He would eat a whole packet of cookies, 30 cookies, sometimes during the day and keep dunking them in coffee. He’d probably have about 10 cups of coffee a day with 2 sugars in them, and then have lots of ginger biscuits/crackers. Dad loved those. In the coffee, in the mouth. Bloating and gas as a result. What the hell is wrong with me? I’ve got a gut problem.

At that stage in my life, I wasn’t really studying natural medicine, but I knew about cause and effect. “Dad, it’s those biscuits.” “Don’t be an idiot. The doctor said there’s nothing wrong with me. I’m going to go to the gastroenterologist.” He had a barium enema, and they pumped this foam in his bum into the colon. Oftentimes what they will do then is do an abdominal x-ray to check for blockages. The doctor never even asked about his diet. Didn’t ask about biscuits or sugar consumption or stuff like that. It was crazy. That’s called a barium enema. That can also be done. They’ll use a sigmoidoscope. It’s a very fine, flexible camera that gets inserted. It’s not a problem.

I’ve got a good friend who is a gastroenterologist, and I often talk about these kind of procedures. I’ve got another friend who’s a urologist – very cool guy. With a number plate: CME2P. Very nice guy. There’s a lot of really nice helpful professional people out there. It’s very important if you’re concerned to get checked out properly. Particularly if there’s been changes that occurred very quickly and you’re getting a bit older. That’s when it’s even more important to get checked out.

If you’ve had a little bit of history on and off for a long time, a stool analysis is often the first port of call I recommend. Particularly if you’re in your 20s, 30s or 40s. They reckon females have got a higher incidents of Irritable Bowel Syndrome. Younger women particularly. When it comes to guys, it’s three to one, but I see lots of guys with Irritable Bowel Syndrome. I would see just as many males as females.

The point is tests and diagnoses depend on the severity of the complaint, the duration of the complaint, the age. Those three factors in particular you need to be taking into account. As usual, if you’re worried, always get it checked out. Talk to somebody about it. Get a referral to someone who’s good. Get things checked out. It’s very important that you get the right treatment after the correct diagnosis.

That’s it for this video. Click on the link down below if you haven’t already got my report, and stay tuned, because I’m going to do another video right now on the best diet for Irritable Bowel Syndrome. We’ll catch you in the next video. Thank you.
