Candida Question #63 Protection & Yeast Infections?

Well, I think it’s probably a wise idea. If you do want to have sex and you have a yeast infection, you need to keep in mind that you could shift your yeast infection from one person to another. And also a good idea would be for you to keep yourself clean down there. If you’re female, regular douching.

You can read all about that in Chapter 5 of my book, Candida Crusher. There’s extensive information on many different protocols for cleansing the vaginal area. In Chapter 4, a quick start guide for males, you can read a lot of information on males on how to keep your area clean and get on top of it.

With a bit of regular care and cleansing, you’ll be able to get rid of this infection and then not have to worry about passing it on any more. Use some precautions and cleansing before sex and after sex is a very good idea. So give that a go.

Candida Question #62 My Boyfriend Has Yeast Infection, Does He Need To Be Treated?

Well, it depends on what you really call treatment, but I certainly would make sure that you both observe good hygiene with sex. It’s a clever idea to do that. So after sex, for example, particularly if he’s uncircumcised, make sure that he roles the skin of the penis back and observes very good hygiene.

Usually with good hygiene it’s not usually a problem. Try some coconut oil for lubrication, which is quite a good idea if you have a vaginal yeast infection and observe good hygiene. That way it will be easier all around. Tea tree oil products are often quite good to wash after sex, so go to the toilet, douching is also quite good for yourself and using water solable tea tree oil as a douche is a clever idea because it’s going to help to get on top of your yeast infection and help you to stop spreading it to your boyfriend and then him back to you again.

So I certainly would recommend that approach. Tea tree oil products and coconut oil are two good ways for you to reduce what I call pass the parcel and moving it back and forth from one partner to another.

Candida Question #61 Can Prolonged Sex Cause Yeast Infection Or Irritation?

It can be, but sometimes having prolonged can also be quite irritating just to the vaginal tissues in general, particularly if there’s not enough lubrication, it can occur. It may not be a yeast infection, but having irritation in this particular area can certainly predispose you toward a yeast infection.

More likely this kind of itching and irritation is because of prolonged sex, so you’ll probably need to use a good lubricant. Coconut oil is actually quite a cool thing to use because it’s anti-fungal and it’s a good lubricant in general for sex.

Yeah, I would say you need to probably get yourself back in shape again and maybe next time you have sex don’t have it for a few hours, but take it easy and you’ll find that over a period of time it won’t be a problem anymore.
