A question I get asked quite regularly from time to time is Eric, are there any special foods or special drinks of any particular foods I can eat that are going to help wipe out or kill or eradicate my yeast infection?

Well, in fact, there are. There are six in particular I’m going to talk about. When you think about it, everybody seems to want to have a focus on diet or supplementation when it comes to wiping out yeast infection. You know the latest and greatest probiotic; the best digestive enzyme; maybe a prescriptive like Nystatin. So people are always looking to take things to get rid of yeast. We all know that a diet high in sugars, alcohol, refined carbohydrates, is not a good idea with a yeast infection. And it’s often one of the big causes along with antibiotic prescriptions.

So then what we do is we stop eating those foods and we take some natural supplements to think we’re going to eradicate the yeast infection. When you think about it for a minute, doesn’t it make more sense to look at incorporating special foods, or what I call Candida Crushing foods, into your diet to help eradicate a yeast infection?

A long time ago, there lived a guy called Hypocrites and he said, “Let food be your medicine and medicine be your food.” So doesn’t it make sense to incorporate some of these medicinal foods into your diet to help wipe out Candida? It makes a lot of sense to me. So I’m going to do some more videos on these particular types of foods in depth.

So what are these particular types of foods I’m talking about? Well, garlic, obviously, is one of the primary foods I’m going to mention. The allium family in general; red onions, brown onions, shallots, spring onions, leaks, garlic obviously belongs to allium, and we’ll talk about the allium family. Oregano, or some people call it Oregano, is a very key medicinal herb used. Clove; clove is quite a powerful compound to use as well. Coconut; coconut crème, milk and oil; coconut is one of my favorite products to incorporate in my diet. So these are several things that you can put into your diet.

So when you think about it, by incorporating these foods in to your diet on a regular basis, along with getting rid of these foods that help to encourage yeast in conjunction with fermented and cultured foods, you’re going to have an excellent effect in wiping out Candida.

So remember what I’ve always said, 80/20 rule. Eighty percent of your focus needs to be on lifestyle and diet; 20 percent on supplementation. Supplementation is a very important part of yeast eradication, but it is not really the major focus. It’s the icing on the cake. Cake’s nice, but when you put icing on it, it tastes a heck of a lot better. And it’s the same when it comes to crushing Candida. So check out my other videos on these particular types of foods.

So I hope that answers your question. There certainly are good foods to help eradicate a yeast infection.
