Very commonly asked question by many people is I miss my iced yo-yo or yum-yum or whatever snack that you would like to call your favorite treat. It could be Mountain Dew or it could be a Coke. It could be an ice cream. It could be a little candy bar. Many people who develop a yeast infection or gut problem have an underlying craving or desire for a particular snack food.

What’s your particular snack food? Have you worked it out yet?

These are the foods that you need to be particularly careful of. A couple of tips for you for sweat cravings is try 500 mcg of Chromium picolinate. Try and take that lunch and evening meal. Given three times per day, that may well help to reduce your sweet cravings. If you want to kill a sweet craving, you may want to try between 3 to 5 mils of liquid Gymnema. Gymnema is quite a bitter herb that has a very strong affinity for blocking killer sugar cravings. That’s another how tip for you. But trust me over time as your yeast population dies down, you will no longer have these killer cravings for sweet foods. The bugs aren’t calling your name anymore. The bug population reduces and so will your craving.

So I’ve seen this happen with even the most hardened sugar addict over several months that the craving slowly diminishes to the point where they no longer have these killer cravings or desires. It does get easier, but you’ll need to be particularly mindful for the first two to three months. If you want something sweet, try some bell peppers or capsaicin. I prefer people to eat sweet fruits rather than the refined carbs initially, but then you need to cut your sweet fruit intake down, particularly things like oranges, dried fruits; they just have to go initially. But you should be okay with kiwi or pineapple, green apples, blueberries, those sorts of fruits. They are a better option, but you still need to eat less of these foods obviously.

You will get better over time, trust me, the cravings will diminish. And in time, as your gut improves, you can slowly incorporate these sweet fruits back into your diet again. But if you go back to your old ways, you’ll go back potentially to the yeast infection that you had. So you need to be mindful of these particular types of destructive habits.

So I hope that answers your question. When can I have a sweet treat again?
