This question is can I use vinegar to cure my yeast infection?

Vinegar is an excellent substance to use. There are many different types of vinegars you can get, but the one not to use is the commercial white vinegar you’ll find in your supermarket. The best vinegar to use for vaginal infection is apple cider vinegar, preferably unfiltered, raw, unpasteurized and organic. We’ve got some very good ones here in New Zealand. I believe Bragg is quite a good brand in America. We’ve got one in New Zealand called Coral Tree, which is by organically grown apples and traditionally prepared.

Apple cider vinegar has been studied in various natural universities around the world, and I read a study recently in 2011 from a university called The Qua Medical University. I believe it was in Iran or Iraq, one of those countries. And the studied showed that, in fact, apple cider vinegar is more effective with vaginal infections than fluconazole. And the main reason why is because of the acetic acid which balances the vaginal PH and also has antifungal activities in its own right. There are many different chemicals in a good quality organic cider vinegar. You normally use between two to three tablespoons per several cups of water and use that as a douche, so it’s very effective. It’s certainly a good treatment, but be sure not to use the commercial white variety. And sometimes they’ll even put molasses in this to make it a brown color, so it’s pretty junky. It might be good to clean your toilet or bath with, but I wouldn’t really use it internally or with cooking. So use the proper organic apple cider vinegar; it’s a good one to use.
